From tense to terrific

This was my first experience in a session with Janice and I loved every minute of it. When I arrived, I had a lot on my mind and felt tense. After the session I felt relieved, grounded and at peace. I couldn’t recommend it enough. I would gladly take another opportunity and attend a session again. It was well worth the time. Janice is a light and a peaceful person to be around.

I loved every minute of my mindfulness session with Janice! She is a sweetheart, she helped me learn how to take time for myself, she taught me how to cope with the challenges and stress of everyday life! Her relaxation techniques were very helpful and rejuvenating! I enjoyed being together as friends and feeling the love and support from each other!

So grateful for the time I have to unwind and enjoy the moment! I’m running so fast that I don’t enjoy those simple moments that are so important to our physical, spiritual and mental health! Janice has helped me learn to enjoy and recognize the small and simple things of life!

I have quite a few issues going on within my body. I struggle with anxiety, I get chronic migraines and definitely have some gut issues going on. I feel like I was exhausted all the time and just struggling to motivate myself to do anything. Working with Janice has really made me more aware of the choices I’m making each day and how they affect my health. I’m still working on the goals Jan and I set together and I know I have a long way to go before I really start feeling better but Janice helped me allow myself grace, to really try and listen to my body and to change my “have to’s” to “I choose/get to” which has really helped me. Working with Janice was amazing, I’m excited to see how her and I grow with this new career path.

I really loved that though Jan wanted me to set goals and to accomplish said goals, she was more focused on my journey and helping me get through it. She really allowed me grace but also helped me to realize maybe things that have or continue to hold me back from reaching said goals.

I think the biggest benefit was allowing me to see things from a new perspective. There are things that Janice and I talked about that I’ve heard for years but it took working with Janice to really allow them to sink in, such as changing some of my products to cleaner sources as well as switching to a hopefully more effective probiotic. I also realized the choices I’m making now affect not just me but my children and our future as a family.

I think a huge eye opener to me is how much we actually put on or in our body and how making simple changes can have huge results. I also just have really learned to give myself grace through this learning process. It won’t all change in a day but I can take the smallest steps if I need to get to where I’m hoping to be.

I would recommend Janice to anyone who seems to be struggling with motivation or health, especially when it comes to their mental health.

I was able to spend some time at one of Jan’s retreats and it was by far one of the neatest experiences. Jan walks you through different things from yoga,

mindfulness meditation, getting to know each other, and hiking.

Through the process you were able to get in touch with nature and listen

to what the world has to offer around you. I would recommend anyone take the time and go spend it with Jan for a few hours and learn to escape the worldly things and enjoy what beauty the world around us has to offer.

To know Jan is to love her. She cares so deeply about those around her

and wants to make an impact on helping people who are struggling with

different obstacles that they may be facing. I was able to spend a few hours

with her at her retreat and it was an experience that I would highly

recommend to anyone who likes to try something different to escape the

bubble that they may be in. Jan takes you on a beautiful hike through nature and wants you to focus on the world around you and the peacefulness of it.

Then once you get to your location she goes over some yoga tips as well as some mindfulness and meditation. She also gives you time to think and listen to what nature has to offer. I attended two group sessions with Janice. The first one was a very small group and the second was a larger group. Both sessions were informative and enjoyable. Janice demonstrated her ability to change and adapt her sessions according to the size, make-up, and needs of the group. She asks good questions and, not knowing what responses she may get, she is able to follow-up and go in the direction she senses the group needs. Her ability to truly listen and respond in affirming, positive ways puts everyone at ease thus creating a safe place where people feel safe to open up, share their experiences or ideas, and ask questions.

The first session was scheduled to be an indoor session, so she didn't have to change or adapt what she had planned. The second session was scheduled to be an outdoor session, however, the weather did not cooperate and it was cold and rainy. Janice had planned ahead in case the weather didn't cooperate and had a place already arranged where we were able to meet indoors. She adapted and it worked out great, it was just too bad we didn't get the outdoor mindfulness experience. Janice loves connecting with nature so I'm sure her outdoor sessions will be absolutely amazing! With summer coming up, and many family reunions or sister's weekends people are planning, having a group coaching session with Janice would be a fun activity for your group.

Janice is passionate about helping people become their best physically, emotionally, spiritually, and mentally. She is genuine, very personable, empathetic, thoughtful, kind, understanding, non-judgmental and just an all around wonderful person. I would highly recommend Janice to anyone who has ever considered getting some life coaching either individual or group.

When we met I was struggling with PTSD, ADHD, weight loss, and depression. While I know I am free from those issues in Jesus name I continue to get in my head about self-worth and the battle. Janice helped by encouraging me and comforting me in times when I was focused too much on the problem and not resting in God. Janice helped me to see that my cup is full and running over even in the pain and stressors of daily life.

I have had the opportunity to be coached by Janice the last few months. Janice is a truly beautiful human being. She is so gentle with her approach and has helped me through a number of different things in my life. Before working with Janice, I was resistant to what mindfulness was supposed to do and accomplish or if this would go against my personal beliefs. I was pleasantly surprised by the calming effects of the sessions. Janice quickly calmed any reservations and has a gift for taking you on a rich journey that transports you into another space. She guides you through mindfulness practice that brings awareness and awakens your senses, inviting sights, sounds, smells, and touch that immerse you in the details of your journey. Janice has the ability to evoke imagery and invites peace as sensations of leaves crackling underfoot and smell of damp moss as you walk on a mountain trail, birds, a breeze caressing your face, and the warmth of the sun touching your skin. Each experience drew me out and into the calmness of these new surroundings. I would recommend Janice to anyone who would like to journey to peaceful places and let stress melt away.

Janice has such a quiet, calming presence. I really enjoyed walking through this experience with her. She offered great insight with her mindfulness practices she chose, and they allowed me to truly be in that state of breath and relaxation in the moment. I often have a more difficult time getting to this space, and it was a good break in my work day to meet with her. She is also super sweet to speak life with and I enjoyed her company. Before working with Janice, I was struggling to get grip on my anxiety and I wanted to find a routine with working out.
Janice was the gentle push in the right direction I definitely needed. My experience working with Janice was very positive. I never felt judged about my shortcomings. It was winter and I was having a hard time getting exercise and good eating habits in place. I also had things from the past come to the surface that I didn’t realize was dragging me down. With Janice’s help and encouragement I made it through the hardest month of the year without gaining a pound and I even lost a couple pounds. Besides my emotional thought process was positive and not doom and gloom.

I loved being able to work with you. You are a positive light to others, and I enjoyed getting to know you better. I also felt valued and that you really were concerned about me.
The thing I enjoyed the most is, you listened, and offered valuable encouragement. I loved your encouragement and beneficial insight on lots of things.
I was able to set goals and stick with them because I knew there’d be someone to report to at the end of the week, that cared what I did. I also realized I’m a strong person and I can do this! I learned that having someone in my corner to encourage and stand by me is very valuable. Especially if they really care about you as a person. Also, that I can do hard things and I don’t have to do it alone.

I would recommend your coaching to anyone. If they’re young, middle aged or older. Your insights on different topics and knowledge of lots of things would be very beneficial to them if they take the time to commit to change and let go of hard things. Also, you have patience and a listening ear and you don’t just jump into a solution, you have a thought process that goes into it.

My life is a very fast paced, filled with various activities pulling me multiple directions. I like to think of the different areas of my life as a different plates that I need to keep spinning to be successful. I occasionally get overwhelmed with the task of keeping them all going without any of them crashing down. Janice has been able to help me to think of ways to cope with the overwhelming feelings that sometimes come in stressful times.

Janice has a very soft spoken and understanding way of seeing my obstacles and helping me overcome them from a different point of view. I often focus on people pleasing and she has helped me realize that this can be both a good trait and a detrimental trait as well. She helped me look at my concerns and decipher if those feelings are legitimate or if they are all coming from my own mind. Janice is easy to talk to and open up with. She never makes me feel out of line or degrades any of my thoughts. She just helps me find ways to see things in a different way and to mentally escape to clear my head so I can attack my issues feeling less bogged down by the weight of my load.

One way that helps me think better and unload my stress is by walking. Janice was willing to walk with me as we did some of our coaching sessions and meet me in my comfort zone. I know that I can use the strategies she has given me to help me along my path to lighten my load.

I know Janice would be a great asset to anyone willing to trust her methods and open up to her. Her quiet, soft spoken personality is very welcoming and comfortable for people having difficulties. She is great at seeing things in a new light and presenting her ideas in an encouraging, positive manner. Thank you Janice for all you have done to help me spin my plates in a more efficient manner.
